TRC has prepared hundreds of NEPA compliant documents that evaluate potential impacts on the environment; consider various project alternatives; provide recommendations to avoid, minimize, and/or mitigate environmental impacts; and address comments raised by stakeholders, including federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, landowners, and the public at large.
TRC prepares successful EAs and EISs because we understand the NEPA process and the variations inherent at different federal agencies. TRC staff have prepared NEPA documents as a contractor to a federal agency under third-party agreements and as the applicant’s contractor. We have expertise in dissecting construction and operation activities to focus only on those likely to create relevant impacts on resources of concern. We help agencies manage issues as they arise during the review process, and provide support for the various cooperating agency interactions and consultations, such as endangered species, cultural resources, EFH, and air quality conformity.
