Biological Assessments


Offering one of the nation's largest biological and natural resources management programs, TRC works with clients across the country to solve their environmental challenges, including preserving and/or restoring sensitive habitats and vegetation.


TRC staff’s proven experience with providing guidance to avoid and minimize impacts to biological resources can reduce mitigation costs and permitting delays. Data collected on behalf of the client are used to assess existing biological resources, determine project-related impacts on these resources, develop appropriate mitigation, and provide clients with information to make informed siting decisions.

TRC collaborates with clients to provide comprehensive biological studies that achieve the project goals and comply with federal, state, and local protocols, including licensing/permitting requirements.

TRC has extensive experience with the development and application of sound Biological Resource Implementation strategies. Staff experience includes reconnaissance analysis, managing biological study teams; collecting field data; developing ecological risk assessments; and organizing, interpreting, and preparing data for incorporation into federal, state, and local license/ permit applications and construction plans.
