Hazardous/Regulated Material Management

TRC’s team of experts provide services related to the identification and management of hazardous and regulated building materials during renovation and demolition projects, and for their ongoing use/management.

TRC provides inspections for hazardous materials/items and develops abatement designs and management plans to allow for their appropriate handling and/or disposal. TRC’s Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMMs) use approaches designed with the ultimate goal of limiting the amount of “waste” to be generated by using recycling and reuse technologies where possible, in accordance with LEED Green and RCRA waste minimization guidelines. The results to our clients include significant cost recapture and reduced liability. TRC also provides third party monitoring of removal and disposal activities under EPA TSCA/RCRA and state requirements. TRC can also serve as an agent for our clients in signing manifests and bills-of-lading for hazardous/state regulated or special waste on their behalf.
