Pietro A. Catizone is a Principal Consulting Meteorologist and Atmospheric Modeling Market Director within TRC's Planning, Permitting and Licensing Practice. His responsibilities include performing technical analyses and managing projects involving a broad range of environmental disciplines. Pete has managed numerous projects requiring Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permits to construct for power generating and industrial projects. He has assisted clients in developing strategies and plans to achieve compliance with ambient air quality standards and re-designate areas formerly in non-attainment. He has also assisted numerous clients in achieving compliance with the chemical accident prevention program (40 CFR 68, RMP Rule). His responsibilities have included performance of air dispersion modeling analyses, application of EPA dispersion models for major emission sources, compilation of emission inventories for large industrial sources, management of Title V operating permit and risk management programs, preparation of technical reports, implementation and supervision of field air quality monitoring programs, review and critique of tracer study programs, and other technical studies.
