TRC Vice President Ed Malley will be among the expert power industry speakers participating in the ELECTRIC POWER 2012 Conference and Exhibition, to be held May 15-17, 2012 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ed will be part of the EP12 Session 9C: “What's Next for Coal Plants?” scheduled for Wednesday, May 16th from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Ed will discuss “Transforming Obsolete Power Plant Sites,” where he will review the operational, regulatory, economic and transactional challenges inherent in transforming obsolete power plant sites into future uses, which may include modern power generating and transmission facilities.
Edward J. Malley has over 25 years of technical, financial and legal experience in the environmental consulting and process industries for energy, petroleum, and chemical companies as well as real estate developers. He currently serves as a Vice President for TRC, focusing on RE Power and Exit Strategy projects and opportunities. Ed is also the co-author of “Decommissioning Obsolete Power Plants: Why Do it Now?”
In addition, Ed is part of EP12 Session 1D: “Prolonging Plant Life and Plant Retirement Planning” taking pace Wednesday, May 16 from 1:30- 3:00 p.m.
